VIII. New Business

           A. Approved the Request made by the
              Alliance Tree and Parks Board to Use
              the School's Portable Stage and Sound
              System During Heritage Days Subject
              to Our Usual Rental Conditions

           B. Approved the MS and HS Band Concerts
              on Wednesday December 17, 2008 and
              April 15, 2009

          C. Approved the Early Childhood and
             Elementary Schools Handbooks for
             2008-09 School Year

          D. Approved 2008-09 Teacher Contracts
             for Anita James - MS Physical Education,
             Terry Hickman - HS Social Studies and
              Hayley Noonan - GV Resource Teacher

E. Approved the Local Substitute Application
for Sue Calder

          F. Authorized Negotiating a Contract with
             NIFDI with 18 Days of On-Site Consultation,
             Consultation will be with Director of Instructional
             Services, Principals and Reading Coaches and
             if requested by Individual Teachers, and
             Authorized Mr. McLane to Negotiate
             Independent Determination of Individual
             Classroom Implementation and Instructional
             Strategies
