AHS SPEECH TEAM

State Qualifiers-State Meet March 17 & 18

Congratulations to the following AHS students for qualifying for the State Speech tournament in District competition yesterday in Gothenburg:

OID - 2nd Place- team of Blake Becker, Tommy Miller, Katie Berglund, and Tasha Turnbull
Amy Harris - 2nd Place - Persuasive Speaking
Tasha Turnbull - 2nd Place - Humorous Prose

Other district medal winners were Amy Harris and Kelli Van Meter - 5th Place - Duet Acting
and Blake Becker - 6th Place - Informative Speaking.

The Class B State Speech tournament will be held in Kearney on March 17 - 18.
