March Maddness Comes to AMS

Alliance -- In honor of March Madness, Mr. Van Tilburg's United States History classes played History Hoops to review for the Chapter 17 Test. Mr. Van Tilburg frequently plays History Hoops during the basketball season to review for tests. "My students like to play History Hoops. They like the competition. We have the boys play the girls and its a lot of fun."
On this day, the boys beat the girls in all seven games. One game went into overtime. Tremain Meier was the day's MVP. "Tre hit a big-time three-pointer to help his team win today."
The 8th graders are presently studying the second-half of the Civil War (1863-1865). "We had a good game in our class. History Hoops is a pretty good strategy for reviewing for tests," said Jake Toedtli.
