Bobo's Story
Military Life Through the Eyes of a Teddy Bear
BJ Taylor came to Grandview and visited with third grade
classrooms on November 7th. He shared stories of his military
service in Iraq.
BJ took a stuffed bear named Bobo with him to Iraq. He
wrote stories to communicate with his daughters, Kailie and Tyna,
while he was away on his tour of duty. These stories were
from the view point of Bobo. BJ read two of these stories

Health Fair Wins NCIP Award
Alliance scored well in the 45th Annual NCIP (Nebraska Community
Improvement Program) in Kearney on November 14, 2008.
Among the awards, the Box Butte County Health Fair,
coordinated by Bev Twogood of the Community Education office,
received the award in Business Assistance and Development.
