5.100 Testing
The following types of tests will
be given to students during the school year at the middle school: (1) Terra
Nova, (2) CRST Minimum Competency Test, (3) Orleans-Hanna Algebra Prognostic
test to 8th-grade students, and (4) Student Attitudes Measurement test
to 6th- and 8th-grade students. The guidance counselor is in charge of
the testing program.
The school may also individually test certain students upon referral so that students can be appropriately placed in various school programs. Before a student is tested for any specific resource assignment, it is required that the school have a SAT (Student Assistance Team) meeting, involving the special education department, the school psychologist and parents..
